Gwennap House is A.M. Kirsch's publishing imprint. The house A.M. calls home was built by the Gwennap family in 1891 in the pioneer tent style and is now where A.M. crafts their work. The Gwennap name comes from a historic village, parish, and sub-district in Cornwall, England. Gwennap House sits on the unceded traditional and ancestral lands of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the q̓íc̓əy̓ (Katzie), qʼʷa:n̓ƛʼən̓ (Kwantlen), kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), and qiqéyt (Qayqayt) First Nations. This land is still home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to work on your land. I’m committed to the struggle against the systems of oppression that have dispossessed Indigenous people of their lands and denied their rights to self-determination.
